Corte tamb\u00e9m a cebola, os piment\u00f5es e os tomates,sem sementes, em peda\u00e7os , pequenos. Deixe dourar o alho no \u00f3leo, acrescente o colorau e a carne. Deixe fritar por alguns minutos antes de colocar os dois litros de \u00e1gua. A costela deve cozinhar, com o osso, por mais ou menos duas horas em panela comum. Quando estiver macia, misture a mandioca e deixe at\u00e9 engrossar bem o caldo. Ponha os tabletes de caldo de carne e as folhas de louro. Por \u00faltimo, a cebola, os piment\u00f5es e os tomates. Espere ferver um pouco. Tempere com o sal e o prato colorido e saboroso est\u00e1 pronto. Ai \u00e9 s\u00f3 colocar o cheiro verde e uma pimentinha, de prefer\u00eancia, a cumari curtida em azeite.
